We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional Open Solderer in Seymour, CT.Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:Responsible for performing soldering tasks throughout the assembly process. This role demands an individual who works as a member of a team under the direction of the production supervisor and functions under time pressure. Key Responsibilities:Perform soldering tasks on electronic assemblies.Ability to maintain production rates and flows.Ability to identify good and bad solder joints.Component identification training required.Proficiency with and working knowledge of MIS (Aegis) software required. Job Qualifications:(Level I.) Operator can perform simple soldering tasks under moderate supervision using assembly instructions with high accuracy and moderate speed, including:Demonstrate ability to perform lap joints, butt joints, and through hole joints.Demonstrate ability to attach solder cup and lug soldering for connector terminations.Demonstrate ability to perform wire tinning.Education: Minimal industry experience required.IPC 610 Certification preferred.J-STD-001 Certification preferred.(Level II.) Operator can perform complex soldering tasks with little to no supervision using assembly instructions with high accuracy and high speed, including:Basic knowledge of solder theory.Demonstrate ability to install and remove SMT or Through hole components.Demonstrate an elevated level of quality consciousness, adherence to industry standards.Education: 3-5 years of industry experience or equivalent.IPC J-STD-001 Certification required.IPC 610 Certification preferred.Solid understanding of basic solder theory.Demonstrate the ability to install, remove, and repair all electronic packages.Demonstrates the ability to use hot air rework equipment.Demonstrate the ability to perform circuit board repairs such as barrel, pad, corner, or etch repairs.Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of industry standards.Provide leadership within the company relative to soldering techniques and quality.Capable of training and supervising others.5 years of industry experience or equivalent.IPC J-STD-001 Certification Required.IPC 610 Certification Required. Key Responsibilities: Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance. Performs rework on incomplete or partial assemblies. Completes shortage requests, time sheets and work order summary sheets. Cleans machines and related work area after each job. Works as a member of a team. Get along with co-workers. Functions under time pressure. Accepts change in a positive manner.Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment. Work in compliance with , OSHA and SDS safety policies. The individual will work directly with assemblers and engineers to determine document content. The documents we would be looking to have them work on would be Primarily Quality Manual Documents: Quality Operating Procedures, Quality Work Instructions, Detailed Operator Work Instructions. They will revise existing documents as well. This job demands an extrovert with high energy, as they will be tracking down managers to verify information throughout our campus. Key Responsibilities: Under general supervision, may develop, write, and edit material for quality manual documents including Quality Operating Procedures, Quality Work Instructions, Detailed Operator Work Instructions.Under general supervision, may observe production, developmental and experimental activities to document operating procedure and detail. Under general supervision, may interview production and engineering personnel to become familiar with product technologies and production methods. This also includes control tasks to ensure that technical documentation is reviewed on time. Work directly with assemblers and manufacturing engineers to determine document content. Obtain illustrations using digital camera, modeling software, and illustration software. Revise existing documents to conform to engineering and process changes. Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:As a Contracts Specialist you will be responsible for: Coordinating with Marketing and other department staffs on commercial and contractual administration issues for existing people.Prepare invoices to customers for the achievement of contract payment milestones.Administer spare parts and special tool delivery (including intra-company coordination, coordination with suppliers, shipping arrangements) and acceptance by the customers.
