We are currently seeking a Packaging Technician for a client in Rowley, MA. DESCRIPTION The packaging technician completes a variety of operational tasks necessary to stage and package materials and components, in addition to the responsibility of the final assembly of a variety of kitted and manufactured products. These operational tasks include the assembly, filling, weighing, printing, labeling, and inspection of various materials and components that become kitted or manufactured products. The position requires an understanding and adherence to common concepts, guidelines, procedures, and protocol. The packaging technician serves as a support role for several areas within production with functions including but not limited to, running automated machinery, printers, bagging, boxing, gathering, filling of various products as well as assisting in inventory storage and packaging of materials at varied temperatures. Primary Responsibilities:Reporting to the packaging supervisor and working from 7:00am-3:00pm this individual will be responsible for:Accomplishing systemized tasks to stage material and components within a kit build or manufactured product accurately and efficiently, such as filling, counting, assembling, and labeling. Efficiently generating packaged kits and products according to company protocol and build schedules.Assist in facilitation of paperwork, inventory counts, and the movement of materials and components.Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready workspace.Practice adherence to operating guidelines and maintain detailed and compliant documentation.Monitor all materials and components to ensure high quality, low error rate, and consistency of product. Ability to identify and communicate problems with any workflow tasks.
