We are presently on the lookout for a dynamic professional as Receiving Inspector II in Seymour, CT.Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:As Receiving Inspector II, you will be responsible for inspecting a wide variety of electronic components, bare pc boards, mechanical components to customer documentation as well as industry standards. This role demands the ability to work with MINIMAL or NO supervision. Key Responsibilities:Performs incoming/receiving inspections on bare PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) per IPC-A-600.Performs incoming/receiving inspections on electrical and mechanical components.Examines quality of workmanship for conformity to customer documentation and industry standards.Verify the accuracy of documentation, such as Certificate of Conformity, FAI reports and Test data.Performs conformal coat inspection as assigned by the Group Leader.Follows established procedures for identifying and handling nonconforming materials.Assists engineering in developing quality inspection plans.Manage and publish inspection report. Job Qualifications:MUST have raw Bare board PCB experience to be considered.Minimum 5 years Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in electronics manufacturing.High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and speak English fluently.Have basic component ID knowledge. and soldering knowledge.Experience using MICRO-VU camera-based measuring system preferred. Experience programming MicroVu preferred.Be competent with using basic hand tools such as a micrometer and/or caliper.Must be comfortable reading customer documentation and using digital manufacturing execution systems.Good attention to detail and organizational skills.Must be able to effectively work in a team environment.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Work independently with little or no supervision.
